This Paper proposes the Power quality improvement of Standalone Hybrid power generation employing Solar power and Wind power using FACTS devices. The Advantage of this system lies with the fact that different sources can be interconnected at any point of the power line, thereby proving to be an effective and a flexible method of system expansion. It is anticipated that this Hybrid power generation system, employing the natural energy will incorporate towards the global environmental protection on isolated and rural areas without any dependence on commercial power system. This paper also demonstrates the use of FACTS device towards the Improvement of Power Quality by the removal of harmonics in the voltage.
