Blastomycosis: A Systematical Review

Blastomycosis is a systemic mycotic infection which is frequently seen in North America. Any study about blastomycosis has not been encountered on veterinary field in our country. This disease affects especially humans and dogs; but it is also seen in cats, horses and the other mammalians. Diagnosis of the blastomycosis can be overlooked because the disease affects multiple organs and systems and many different symptoms can be observed.
It is aimed to give information about Blastomycosis which is rarely known but tends to be confused with other diseases, causes life-threatening inflammations and can be observed in many different countries because of the owners travel with their pets.
